It's been 5 years since my fifth oral cancer surgery (palatectomy) and I am very thankful to have had no recurrences during that time. I only have 6 remaining teeth in my left side of the maxilla and those teeth are beginning to fail. This is a problem as those teeth are what anchor the obturator. I have been advised to consider zygomatic implants and I wondered if anyone here has undergone that procedure? Thank you!
