Not sure if you've begun radiation yet or not, I had 30 treatments aimed at the right side of my mouth and neck, ending back in March of this year. Another side effect I had that I didn't see mentioned here is the fatigue. Some days I still get fatigued really easily and will have to just lie down for awhile. The good news is my taste buds are already starting to come back ( I can really taste my smoothies now.) but my saliva is still a bit wacky. I'll go from thick, salty tasting saliva for a couple weeks to more normal saliva and dry mouth then back again. Hopefully it will continue to get more normal as the months roll on.

The one side effect I somehow escaped that I heard the worst feedback about were the mouth sores. I may have gotten a couple minor ones but ended up finally just tossing my magic mouthwash after never having used it. I guess everyone is different when it comes to the side effects.
