When my husband was getting radiation, he sometimes would have an elevated temperature. When I called the cancer centre hot line, the nurse told me that the radiation sometimes caused the temperature to rise. My instructions were if it went up further then I should take him to Emergency. We never did that. Do ask your doctor when you should go to the emergency.
