Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 17 | I am so happy to find this board dedicated to oral cancers. There are none others that I've found. I have been told that as far as the dr can tell without doing surgery I have a cancer on the base of my tongue...in the throat. He believes it has spread to lymph glands. I go for a CAT scan Wed and to Houston to the Head and Neck Clinic next Monday. Any advice. I'm terrified and so upset I'm sick at my stomach. I'm 52, quit smoking 5 years ago. | | |
