Welcome to OCF! Im sorry to read about your husband going thru a recurrence! Thats everyone's biggest fear, we all worry about hearing those dreaded words again... "Im sorry, you have cancer". Since you and your husband have been thru it before Hopefully this time around will be easier, you already are ahead by having the medical team in place.

Since the early days of Keytruda's trials, OCF has been following this new way of treating cancer patients. It was fast-tracked thru the FDA and many of our members participated in the trials. Theres been many here who were successfully treated with Keytruda after it was made available to everyone. Ive known several over the past few years. At OCF, we do not always have specific members stopping back on a regular basis after they have gone thru their fight with oral cancer (OC) and recovered. Many will pick up their old lifestyle and happily go back into the same familiar routines before they had cancer putting away all those memories of hard days/nights.

Wishing you and your husband all the very best with everything you have ahead with his recurrence.
