Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 69 Likes: 1 | Everybody has experienced scanxiety, the fear pending the results of a scan.
I occasionally suffer from screenaphobia, the fear ahead of my periodic cancer screens that they will show a recurrence.
Just curious to see if anyone has a term to label their particular fears. I occasionally get a swollen lymph node from allergies or cough up some mucus. Painful wait time for things to clear up. It's taken cancer to make me a hypochondriac.
