That is great to hear about your father! Specifically....well - the good new is that it looks like she has responded well to the chemo and no further surgery is needed at this time. The tumor has shrunk and looks like it is remission. However it has been all the side effects of the chemo treaments - numbness in hands & feet, loss of balance, mucositis, tongue pain, fatigue, loss of weight, diarreha, rashes etc. Now she is starting hyperbaric oxygen treatments on Monday for 6-8 weeks in order to do oral surgery (bone is coming through her gum). Hopefully we can get back to work on the permanent dentures after all this is completed. It has almost been 14 months and we are ready for some healing time and get back to some resemblance of our previous lives.
