When I read Mark's post this morning, I'm glad I chose not to reply earlier. He has given you excellent advice! It may be hard, but please try to take it to heart. And in my humble opinion, the fact that the lump went away sounds like good news. Getting a referral to MD Anderson is a good decision. They are among the best! I wish you and Paul the best. Was primary caregiver to my daughter Heather who had stage IV base of tongue SCC w/ primary recurrence. Original diagnosis August 21st, 2002. Primary recurrence March 18th, 2003. Died October 6th, 2003.
