I believe you, and both you and Uptown are correct from what I read. I've seen articles that say it doesn't spread cancer, and then others mentioning warnings for other medical conditions, and as far as tumorous areas to stay away from the surrounding area until further studies are done. I was keying on the word "metastatic spread" since that was most often mentioned, but wondered if that included Extracapsular Extension from a broken lymph capsule since that can spread cancer too.
When I had a radical neck dissection, after radiation treatment, the neck muscle was removed too, and was found to contain cancer. It was in the same area where my doctor suggested I leave my lymph node alone I had been checking.
In somewhat similar situation is HBOT. Earlier studies show that it can increase cancer spread through angiogenesis, but some current studies say it doesn't spread cancer. Then it's often mentioned it was a small analysis, and further studies are needed. I had HBOT in 2011, and a month later had a recurrence, but could have been a coincidence, but sometimes I wonder.
