Seems like my mom is doing really good so far with the Carboplatin/Docetaxel Chemo treatment. The side effects have been some Mucositis of course but my moms been able to tolerate it. The last couple of days I've noticed my moms hair falling out. My mom still had beautiful thick black hair. I assured her we will get a hair piece and she will still look just as beautiful as ever.

Seems like my mom has a little more energy lately .She's been getting out of bed a lot more. The color in her face looks a lot better also. I'm thinking maybe this treatment is helping her . She has only taken one of these treatments so far. Her second one is on Tuesday and I hope the results get better and better.

As for the open wound on my mothers neck the Surgical Oncologist packed it and a nurse is coming to the house everyday to change it. The Oncologist said this happens when the tumor losses its blood supply and the tumor is dieing. Were praying other tumors don't start to grow around it. I really don't understand a lot of all this but i'm trying to educate myself on it.
