We have a common statement here that "it ain't cancer till the pathologist says so" Hard words to live by sometimes. Many of us had no pain or symptoms at all, some have had a great deal of pain. Put yourself in the hands of the professionals and let them earn their keep. (let them do the worrying)
Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
