Former said I could have an extraction because the radiation (on that side?) was less than 50 gy. But I didn't have an extraction, just a filling because the tooth has settled down and it's quite a useful one for my limited eating. We've bought it a little bit more time.
The bigger part of my life right now is getting from appointment to appointment in car to Park & Ride, then buses with lots of walking thrown in.
1996, ovarian cancer surgery + cisplatin and taxol. September, 2007, SCC of left lateral tongue. Excision. October, 2009 recurrence in scar tissue, T1NOMO. Marginal mandibulectomy, neck dissection, right arm free forearm flap. T1N0M0 but third occurrence and some areas of concern: RT started 8 April and finished 19 May.
