Kris's ulcer has healed well. He used Orocort and also wore a sports mouth guard to relieve the pressure on the flap from the tooth.
Our hospital has approved funding for an external provider to make him a partial plate and he has started this process. It seems his jaw has moved, a side effect from the radiation he had 3 years ago, and this has caused the pressure from a top tooth onto the tongue flap.

PET 6/11 clear.
R) level 2-4 neck dissection 8/1/11 to remove residual node - necrotic with NED
Feb '12 Ca back.. 3/8/12 total glossectomy/laryngectomy/bilat neck dissection/partial pharyngectomy etc. clear margins. All nodes negative for disease. PEG in.
March 2017 - 5 years disease free. Woohoo!
