HI - welcome. Hopefully it's nothing but if they are large enough it would do you well (mentally) to find out if it's actually cancer - firstly - and what kind - secondly. Ive said this a few times here but - I know people who have had lung nodules turn out not to be cancer, and some of those that did had a different kind of lung cancer - which is very treatable and very operable. In fact a woman I worked with had that exact scenario her husband had HPV related base of tongue cancer, ended up with a positive node in his lung (he was a non smoker BTW) and it turned out NOT to be oral cancer mets - so they removed it and he's NED. In order to know how to deal with it you need to know what it is. Once they hear oral cancer drs automatically assume that any nodules are oral cancer mets. This is NOT always the case.
