Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 10,507 Likes: 8 | As far as I know its only the cisplatin that causes hearing issues. Many switch over to the carboplatin. I have seen this problem happen to many patients. I would guess at least 40 people over the past 7 years on this site. Not one of the patients who switched had a problem with carboplatin.
