Just an update for you all.

The growth was benign, and excessive granulation tissue from the laser. This is not uncommon apparently. The Tissue had grown out quite large on what i can only describe as a stalk, which led to a large mushroom shape of flesh. It was removed under a local anasthetic, and literally took 5 minutes. I was back at work the same afternoon.
There is not much information out there with regard to exceesive granulation tissue following laser excisions.
