Sorry you are here, and even more sorry you have to deal with this pain, all without a clear diagnosis. Mentally, it's easier to deal with anything having a definite name, history, etc.

One thing that might help your pain is to get your doctor to prescribe (if required) some Oral Lidocaine Topical Solution. It's a thick liquid you gargle, swish around and spit out. The ...caine part of it numbs things nicely. Good luck.
