Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 5,264 Likes: 5 | Some people just respond to this differently. Did he have his first chemo before he got nauseated? If so maybe they can switch it to a different chemo? I had a friend who threw up from beginning to end and had his head in a bucket the entire time. But he got through it and is doing fine now. As long as they keep him on IV - he can at least get fluids and meds. best of luck
