I had tongue cancer. treatment was 33 radio sessions + 3 chemo sessions with ciplastin.

I was wondering if anyone on the forums have had any experience with "mucositis'. I developed a bad case of it after the last radiation treatment to the neck/mouth area.

It's been almost 6 weeks since last treatment and I am in such a pain in the mouth that I cannot eat any solids and can hardly speak.

Please respond with your experiences and if you have any idea on what this "torture" can last?
