Welcome JuanR, radiation keeps on working for just as long as radiation treatment lasted, 6 werks, so it is still working, and you need to keep doing all he preventive measures done during treatment. There can be other co-conditions too, which may be difficult to differentiate like bacterial, fungal and viral infections, and even those are difficult to tell apart. and each need to be treated with different meds. Even after all that, the rope mucus, and dry mouth follows. It takes time for most to resolve, sometimes from a few weeks, to months to years, but does get better. 6 weeks out is still early.
