Hello Eshwar,

I started this post to know if there are any other methods to identitify oral cancer across the globe other than checking for physical white/red patches/sore/lump which i feel needs to improve.Iam aware of the new methods that are in clinical trails phase and will be very happy once they become a part of the main detection/treatment process.

Absolutely you are right iam not a expert and i should be trusting doctor words but the symptoms/experiences/situations/past habbits doesnt allow me to acknowledge their words.
DOctors/surgeons ive met till now are highly skilled in their respective domains and i can tell you they are one of the best in the world.
Iam one of those fortunate ones who got diagnosed for sarcoidosis with just symptoms and chest x-ray in very less time.Other tests including biopsy were done to confirm the same. This itself speaks volumes on the expertise of the doctors.

What iam looking for is a out of box thinking from a doctor to diagnose my problem. For the record let me tell you that ive stopped both smoking/drinking completeley and its been a long time already.Iam being completely honest on what ive said.

Regarding sarcoidosis iam following with the doctors(Pulmonologist/Eye specialist) at regular intervals (every 4-5 months) for the past 3 years and chest x-ray/ACE levels are normal for more than a year.My last visit was 3 months back.

After experiencing my so called cancer like symptoms my sarcoid symptoms starts ie dryness in eyes/sudden anxiety/palpitations increases for a short period of time.

I feel that there is a strong link between sarcoidosis & steroids, low Vitamin D and cancer. Its like a vicious circle.
