Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 5,264 Likes: 5 | Usually for oral cancer it's an ENT - oral surgeons can only do so much - it's an ear nose and throat specialist who is supposed to treat this type of cancer. I would try to get you gp to refer you to one. I'm Canadian we have the same system. And oral surgeon can only do so much as far as I know things like neck dissections are out of their area of expertise.
