OP Contributing Member (25+ posts) Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 33 | No flap. I just had the top right side removed..so it still looks like my tongue..just with one side being lower than the other. I guess I am rushing things a bit. I just want to talk more normal and not drool everywhere when I am standing upright. I know its not anything to freak out over...but its frustrating and scary to think about. I also think it has to do with the stitches still being in there and one part seems to be sown weird..but I will ask my dr about that on Friday when I get my staples taken out from my neck dissection. T3N1 Chemo and rads started 3/4/14 33 rads and 6 chemo Peg tube 3/7/14 37 radiation and 8 chemo treatments Completed treatment 4/25/14 recurrence 12/1/15 surgery for Hemiglossectomy 12/11/15
