Hopefully my dentist will refer me to an ENT when I see him next, as I highly doubt the swelling will go down, given how long it's already been there. I'll have to push my doctor for a referral as well, luckily I'm seeing the doctor next Friday and would hope that they realise that I should be properly tested and won't just disregard it just because you can't actually see anything.

The thing with the doctors I've seen is, they seem to think the only cause for concern would be if I was extremely tired all the time and was throwing my guts up 24/7. Which is why I think I'll have much better luck getting through to my dentist.
