Welcome to OCF. The symptoms of oral cancer are not usually very noticeable which is why many patients arent diagnosed until the late stages. A fever is not one of the symptoms of oral cancer. That is a sign of an infection which it could be.

If the sores in your mouth are there for 2 weeks or longer then its time to go see a professional. I would suggest seeking out an ENT who specializes in oral cancer. A biopsy will tell what is going on and if its cancerous or not.

If I were you I would start with the family doctor as it sounds like you have alot going on right now. The fever should be addressed.

Good luck!!!

Best wishes!
