On making it count for something - I sponsored a team at the local Cancer Relay for Life event as a way to honor those that went before me and to help get money for research for a cure. When you think of all the people that have gone through clinical trials so progress can be made on finding a cure for this disease... well it is humbling to realize someone had to be the trial to come up with the treatment plan they are currently using. If it doesn't work to cure us, guess it is our turn in hopes someone down the road will benefit.
Joining OCF and renewing your membership annually helps with getting early detection info out to the dental offices and getting the news out to survivors to come to the site for support and hope to get through treatment. This is certainly a club no one really wants to join, but since we are here we might as well be productive  - Kris
