Yes...it can be Hyperuricemia from the chemo causing increased cell death wih increase in uric acid, although could be other causes, contributers. I just had surgery, 2 blood transfusion, almost on dialysis from uric acid kidney stones, from chemo, causing acute kidney failure with creatine at 7.2, hemaglobin 7. I assume your doctor's know, monitoring you, and May seems far away to wait. I had Taxotere, Erbitux my last treatment, which ended in November '12. I had a similar bout, probably worse, in 2010, 5 months post treatment from Taxotere, Cisplatin, 5-Fu, and almost didn't make it.
