Wow! Thank you for this conversation, I've had a ton of mucus/saliva after surgery a few weeks back. Had dry mouth for almost seven years and then after this fight with a new tumor out of left field I was like "What?" Surgeon told me at follow up visit it was healing process and what saliva glands I have that can produce are kicking in and overcompensating to fight bacteria and help heal. I went from one extreme to the other! Things now have flavor, a Blessing to all of this! Maybe I'll maintain a little of it as I get back to another "New normal." Best wishes las3645!
