Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 10,507 Likes: 7 | Your husband should be doing hyprebaric oxygen treatments (HBO). At least 30 of them. Marx Protocal is 20 HBO prior to any teeth extractions and 10 afterwards, same goes when removing piece of his jawbone. This is very important!!! Without HBO he runs a very high risk for having continuing problems with osteoradionecrisis (radiation induced death of his jawbone). I would ask the physician about HBO and if they say you dont need it then go to a major cancer center like Moffitt, MD Anderson or Vanderbuilt (I think those are nearest to you) for a second opinion.
