Thrush is very treatable, but can get out of control in immune compromised patients like with cancer, if not treated properly, and then can get into the blood system through the intestines, any ulcers or wounds in the mouth, and then it's Invasive or disseminated candidiasis going throughout the body, which is more difficult to treat, and can be deadly.
