I was very fortunate to finally meet Eric and hear his presentation at the Yankee Dental Congress today in Boston. I know everyone in that room was moved by what he said and the best part is that they were dental hygentists who will go back to their offices with a new understanding on why their initial screenings are so important.
On a personal note, I was also able to meet a contact at Henry Schein who had asked for permission to use my family photo for their Indentafi screening instrument...it is very sureal to see yourself in a large poster on a convention floor.
All in all it was a good day for us in our crusade to spread awareness!
