It was so bad they had to give him an oxycodone. The RO explained that it was probably the result of some swelling after the Rx. Then over the weekend, the earache went away. John was not taking the codeine he was given because he felt it was not doing much for the sore throat. The RO suggested he try as it would 'take the edge off' so that he could cope better.
