Hi Carla, You have come to the right place. There are some really amazing stories here that inspired me to keep on with my own journey. One thing is certain that after enduring the worst of the treatment regimen, it can only get better. My small advice is to just keep your spirits high no matter what. I have realized that this is as much a battle of wills and mind as it is of the flesh! Speech therapy is really helpful and a good therapist can really do wonders not just with speech but also with other functions like swallowing and eating. I benefited a lot and am going for my surgery next Wednesday to address few rehabilitative issues. Unlike earlier now i feel like a veteran going into battle field! Keep your spirits up and all the very best with radiation therapy. God bless. Chandra
