Since my neck dissection almost 2 weeks ago, I have become aware of a slight difference in the size of the pupils in my eyes.
My surgery was on the right side, and I have noticed my right pupil is slightly smaller than the left.In addition, I have a slightly droopy right eyelid and my eyeball feels a little sensitive. Initially, I thought this was down general manhandling during the operation, but research indicates this could be a condition known as aniscoria, and a result of lymph node removal creating pressure/swelling on that side of my face.
This condition does not affect my vision but I have noticed that extended reading, watching TV or computer use does tire me out.
Wondered if anyone else has any insight into this ( and if it temporary) ?
