I have never got a straight answer from my doctors. I have read that it does go away, but also some people are still bothered by it years later! My feet are definitely much more 'comfortable' now than 6 mths ago. I don't have pain as such but more like 'pins and needles' and the sensation of touch feels odd. At first I could never get my feet comfortable, but now I often don't notice it, though my feet definitely feel the cold more and overheat more quickly too. Sally
