Wonderful doctors and facility. I had 6000 rads to right neck and a course of Eribitux. I then went to Beth Israel Hospital in NYC and had Brachytherapy to my tongue 3 weeks later. I was very pleased with the treatment and so far the outcome of all of this has earned me a clear PET/CT and MRI after 3 months post treatment. I continue to be monitored closely. The brachytherapy, although sounding grotesque, wasn't that bad at all and other than tenderness, healed quite rapidly. I continue to take speech therapy to "fine tune" my deficiencies and will return part time to work in a few weeks. I feel very blessed.
