I am happy to hear that anyone who had something questionable got the opportunity to speak with you. Its so important that they get pointed in the right direction and know they arent alone. Putting a face to oral cancer for someone can make such a huge impact on them. Too often people panic when faced with a serious illness.
At the Philadelphia walk I was sure to hand out some business cards and speak with the doctors doing the screenings. I wanted to make sure they would send anyone that could have oral cancer over to OCF and also have the ability to contact me if they wanted to.
