I agree with Cheryl about a second opinion. In addition, you might want to look at some of the clinical trials on the National Cancer Institute site: http://www.cancer.gov/clinicaltrials

You can search by type of cancer, type of trial, etc. Some of the combination treatments are having good results. Best wishes for both of you.
