Einstein and Eric were right: "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." There is a reason, however, why many of us do this (according to what I learned in a college class on Biological Foundations of Behavior) :

When we follow a certain thought process, our brains are making little tracks so that each time we get back to the same thought, we automatically follow the same track and get stuck there. Not getting the desired results can lead to stress and even physical symptoms or worse. Or until we can ask ourselves -
�How�s that working for you?� And make new "tracks" by doing what Eric and others have suggested and -
