Very very sad. However, with[quote] terrifying symptoms: crippling headaches, tunnel vision and tremors that shook her entire body.[/quote]it sounds like Stage IV with major spreading of the cancer to the point where the tumor may well have been inoperable. Not too many posters here start off with such bad symptoms right out of the box. sounds like any TX would only have been pallitive and not curative anyway. So sad.
