Just found the site today, and I feel a bit guilty joining given that I'm in the UK.

I haven't been able to find any similar site here in UK, but it's been good to read so many positive things from so many people.

I was diagnosed with cancer of the tongue early September 2001, operated on late September 2001.

Surgery comprised a total glossectomy, and of course a neck dissection. Surgery was followed by a course of "aggresive" radiotherapy.

There must be somebody out there who's had the same thing. Your experiences,problems (if any) would be of great interest to me
