Thanks for all your responses. I wanted to let you know that I am taking each one seriously, and applying it if appropriate. So please keep it coming.

I did want to follow-up on a comment Cecilia made re. dental hygiene, which many of you have made elsewhere as well. My problem is that there are blisters on the lateral side of my tongue and am not able to do a good job cleaning the lower/inner teeth because it hurts (even with Lidocaine). I have tried different tooth brushes including the green ones they give out in the hospital to no avail. Now I am using a little paste on my finger and trying to get to that space -- hoping that anything will help.

Any idea on how soon the blisters start to heal to the point that they go away? Any other suggestions are always welcome.
