Hi all, I went back to france a few weeks ago to show off our new baby girl to my dad and all of my old friends. I went to the restaurant with my dad and saw someone I thought I recognised. When I was 7 (I am now 38) one of my school friends'dad looked old and ill and skinny. I always thought he looked more like his grandad than his dad, but never really thought much about it. I suppose I'd always known his dad as being like that. Well I saw him in the restaurant and he looked younger now than he did then. He looked about 65 not 105. Turns out when I thought he was old, he had throat cancer and had a tumour removed and had radiation. My dad doesn't know exactly where. But anyway 31 years on he is still here and looking better than I have ever seen him! You'd never know he had been ill. It really made me feel happy, so I thought I would share.
