OP Patient Advocate (old timer, 2000 posts) Joined: May 2002 Posts: 2,152 | Well, I'm off to the slaughter house at the crack of dawn tomorrow. Not looking forward to this 10+ hour ordeal at all. The trick will be to keep my BP below 200 so they can do the surgery. I do wish they would take you the night before when they want you there at 5:30 am.
I am not the robust patient I was the previous two times I hit the table for this surgery so not certain how fast I will recupe from this one. I'm just praying they don't have to take an artery from my arm, but I doubt that I'm going to be that lucky again.
Wish me luck and I'll post again when I can.
Take care Eileen
