Benfry - It is better if you can try to keep busy with other things - maybe give yourself a time limit for thinking about the wait because the mind tends to go to all the "what ifs" and the negatives, so if you can substitute the negatives with all the things that can go Right, it keeps away the bad thoughts. When I was so worried about my son, I would try to do something physical. The exercise gets oxygen to the brain and helps to make you feel better. I'm sure your Dad is worried, too so if you do things with him to occupy the time it would help both of you. I took my son to see a really funny movie and hearing him laugh made me feel good, too. Find out what your Dad likes and suggest it. And take time for doing things that you like, too!
