I had 32 radiation treatments in 2004, then 30 in 2007 but mine were to opposite sides of my mouth and neck. I'm not sure from your situation if the 2nd course of radiation is on the same side? Let me know if I can help - what questions you might have. My radiation courses were both after sureries, so not sure if my situation applies or not but I am here if you have questions.
