Okay, if nothing is off-limits, here goes. I've been wondering about something. I totally admire all of you who opt for every treatment available to sustain your life. I may come off as a chicken and don't want to insult anyone. But is there any information available about what happens if you opt out of treatment? I have something in me that just can't even fathom taking the step of radical surgery. My mind is sorting information and I just want to know what I might expect if this is cancer and I refuse surgery? Of course, I will die. That's not what I'm asking. I guess what I'm asking is will my disease progression be as painful/disfiguring as surgery? Does anyone know of anyone going this route?
I feel as if I'm asking for the coward's route from the brave. But I just want ALL the info in my bag of weaponry.
Gosh I hope I'm not asking too much as a nosey newbie waiting for a diagnosis. Thanks so much for any info you can give.
