Stay close and you will get through this. After the biopsy comes the horrid waiting time. Here's a little bit that I have found helpful about worry:

"Shut off the past! The load of tomorrow, added to that of yesterday, carried today, makes the strongest falter. Shut off the future as tightly as the past.....The future is today....There is no tomorrow. The day of mans salvation is now. Waste of energy, mental distress and nervous worries dog the steps of a man who is anxious about the future. Shut closed the great force of yesterday and tomorrow, and prepare to cultivate the habit of a life of "day-tight compartments."

It takes practice to do that - when worries come into your head which belong in tomorrow - shut them out. Tell them they don't belong in today. Nothing you can do today about them anyway - so shoo them away until the day when you do hear biopsy results, or whatever you are waiting for.

"Day Tight Compartments"

The load of tomorrow added to the that of yesterday makes even the strongest falter....
