Four years out of my original diag, I had a 4 month old hoarse throat diagnosed as cancer of the larynx. Mine was buried in fold in the esophagus so could not be detected until under anesthesia. CT did not even find it. I don't want to scare you, but voice changes and sore throat can be signs of cancer. Pursue this actively. I also strongly suspect second cancer was caused by radiation damage.
