I had the surgery and turns out I was dealing with a very swollen lymph node, not a neuroma. Ofcourse now I am worried about Lymphoma! Always something to worry about it seems.
I will keep you posted.
Try I am trying to recover from having my original incisiion reopened.

mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the submandibular gland, 05/06, left neck dissection, gland and tumor removed, intermediate grade, margins negative, 9 lymph nodes negative, no rad, no chemo,
11/07 surgical biopsy of lymph node left neck, no cancer!
